Crowcon Tetra3 Extended

Gas detection specialist Crowcon has expanded the capabilities of its Crowcon Tetra:3 (T3) personal multi-gas detector with three more toxic gas sensors: ozone (03), sulphur dioxide (S02) and ammonia (NH3).

This complements the existing sensor range which includes flammable gases, oxygen (02), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), and carbon monoxide (CO).

The new sensors widen the applications for the Crowcon Tetra3 to include the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage processing industries, as well as water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Featuring a top-mount display and the capacity to detect up to four gases at once, the Crowcon Tetra3 is designed for use in the most demanding industrial environments, including confined space work. It features intuitive, single button operation, essential for users with gloved hands.

Ridig SeeSnake microDrain Inspection System

Since 1923, RIDGID has developed a range of rugged equipment for professionals and are valued by expert trades for their design and durable features.

When asked for any types of drainage inspection equipment, one of the brands always requested is Rigid.

The small Rigid microDrain provides a compact inspection system that can be carried into a house or used to see if there is a block in small diameter pipes. When undertaking an initial inspection, the Rigid microDrain allows the operator to inspect up to 30 metres (100 feet) to determine the problem and ascertain if further work is required.

Developed around the microReel, the Ridig SeeSnake incorporates a flexible reel with options to incorporate a signal sonde, small hand held monitor or the CS100 digital recording monitor capable of undertaking a full survey.

The microDrain is a portable, lightweight reel with a 10m/20mpushcable and camera head for the inspection of drain lines from 30mm to 100mm. It passes multiple 90°bends from 40mm onwards drains.

Bosch GLM 80 Professional Laser Measure

For professionals who want to measure distances, heights and inclines the easy way, there is now the Bosch GLM 80 Professional from Bosch.

It combines the functions of a rangefinder and an inclinometer in one tool, and it can be turned into a digital spirit level by clicking it into the measuring rail R 60 Professional, which has been specially designed for this purpose. As a result, this all-rounder covers a very wide range of applications and sets new standards in the measuring technology segment.

The Bosch GLM 80 Professional measures distances of up to 80 meters and has a typical accuracy of ± 1.5 millimetres. All data can be read on the large, illuminated display, which turns automatically as soon as the tool is moved from a vertical to a horizontal position.

Digital Incline Sensor
The Bosch GLM 80 features a digital incline sensor allowing the user to record the instruments angle and undertake advanced measurements like indirect height measuring with the Pythagorean function.

Rechargeable Battery Pack
The Bosch GLM80 is equipment with a rechargeable battery pack as standard. A standard micro USB port allows the lithium-ion battery to be charged for up to 25,000 measurements per charge.

Rotating Screen
The Bosch GLM 80 is the first laser measuring instrument to feature an automatic display rotation. The contents of the display turn depending upon the position of the instrument to ensure that the values can be read in any position.

Tilt Sensor
Obtain the result faster thanks to easier height and distance measurement
The Bosch GLM 80 features a digital incline sensor allowing the user to record the instruments angle and undertake advanced measurements like indirect height measuring with the Pythagorean function.

It works on both axes of the tool and covers a radius of 120 or 360 degrees depending on the reference side. This sensor makes it possible, for example, to calculate the height of a building with a single measurement.

A completely new application with only one click
When clicked into the measuring rail R 60 Professional, which has been specially developed for this purpose, the Bosch GLM 80 Professional becomes a digital spirit level. The integrated rail detection system ensures that when the tool is switched on, it automatically switches to the inclination measuring mode and the display turns accordingly. This enables, for example, the inclines of rafters and stringers to be checked or sanitary objects such as shower tubs to be aligned, all with an accuracy of ± 0.2 degrees. An audio signal is emitted at 0 and 90 degrees to help with this.
