BW Technologies have launched their new generation BW GasAlertQuattro gas detector which has been designed to provide enhanced confidence through rugged reliability and enhanced features.
Several key customer requirements have been addressed with the new BW GasAlertQuattro, improved screen to check the instrument, improved gas sensors and more importantly confidence in the instrument.
Large Clear Display
The BW GasAlertQuattro features a larger LCD display with easy to identify icons that indicate operational information, such as bump test and calibration status for simplified onsite auditing. A large heart icon pulses continually during normal operation to indicate that the instrument and environment is OK.
However, if the instrument alarms a new hazardous symbol will be displayed, highlighting the alarm.
IntelliFlash
The IntelliFlash, a green LED that continuously flashes to let the safety manager know their crew is safe, the site is compliant and the job is productive. That means no manual checks, no time spent inspecting just a quick visual scan of the area provides assurance all is well in minutes, not hours. So safety managers can spend more time on the job, not auditing equipment.
The audible alarm is different if the battery is low to a gas alarm.
Improved Sensors
BW has rigorously investigated all the sensors available on the open market and selected the best sensors for reliability and overall performance. With over 10 billion field hours the Surecell range of sensors meets customer demands for improved sensor design.
Longer Running Times
The BW GasAlertQuattro delivers longer run times that allow workers do more in all extremes the work environment demands. The interchangeable battery pack means customers can do more and spend less. They need to buy only one monitor because the battery pack transfers in the time it takes workers to change shifts. So there’s never any downtime with the personal gas monitor that’s ready for work 24 hours/7 days a week.
Single Button Operation
The BW Gas Alert Quattro utilises a single one button operation. The push button has been design for easy operation whilst wearing gloves.
