Thanks to the in-built tilt sensor, you can quickly and simply measure tilts up to ± 360°. The tilt sensor also allows you to measure absolutely horizontally or measure past obstructions (horizontal distance).

Building upon the Leica DISTO D5, the Leica DISTO D8 features a multifunctional endpeice. When you need to measure from a corner, simply flip out the end piece and take the measurement. The instrument will automatically sense the position of the bracket and adjust the measurement accordingly.
