Leica Lino L2 Cross Line Laser

Like most products developed and manufactured by Leica Geosystems, the Leica Lino cross line laser, there is no comparison.

The Leica Lino L2 cross line laser provides a crisp, sharp, precise bright red laser beam, both in horizontal and vertical axis. When placed side by side against any other cross line laser, the Leica Lino L2 wins hands down. Not just for the ergonomic design, but more importantly for the quality of the instrument and the brightness of the beam.

Red Dot Award Winner
The Leica Lino L2 is the first line laser to be awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Award for excellent product design.

Being awarded a Red Dot means that the Leica Lino L2 is the best for design and business. The red dot is an internationally recognised quality label that is judged by an international jury made up of renowned designers and design experts. Only the best is awarded the Red Dot!

Self-levellingIt is not necessary to tediously align the Leica Lino L2 to obtain horizontal or vertical lines. The internal compensator automatically levels the beam within minor angular misalignments of ± 4°. If the instrument is outside this tolerance, the device does not project any lines. Errors are prevented.

Excellent visibility
The Leica Lino L2 is equipped with Leica's Power Range Technology to achieve an excellent visible laser line at greater distances. When utilised with the Leica LL2 detector eye the range can be increased to 30m inside or out.

Very high accuracy
With projection and levelling accuracy of ±1mm, the Leica Lino L2 is one of the most precise instruments in its class.

Very easy to use
With only one button operation, the Leica Lino L2 is quick and easy to operate. Setting the instrument up is child's play, with the magnetic multifunction adapter supplied.

Wall Bracket / Multifunction AdapterThe Leica Lino L2 magnetic multifunction adapter can be utilised as a mini tripod or as wall bracket. The design incorporates a magnetic plate allowing the bracket to be positioned against a metal surface.

Protimeter Mini Moisture Meter

Most widely used moisture meter

If you require a simple mosture meter for detecting surface damp then the Protimeter Mini is the referred choice. Small, compact and ideal for general purpose moisture detection, the Protimeter Mini is ideal for checking the moisture levels for a vast range of quality control and dampness diagnosis applications.

Simple readingsDirect readings of surface moisture are taken through two small pins. A colour coded scale enables the user to assess the moisture level at a glance.

The numerical values represent the actual percent moisture content of wood (%MC) and the wood moisture equivalent (WME) of other materials. The Protimeter Mini can be used to determine if the fabric of a building is in a dry, borderline or damp condition.

Design enhancementsThe Protimeter Mini incorporates a range of design refinements and features that make it much simpler to use. The stylish instrument case fits snugly in the hand with a rubber edging for comfort, so it can be used effortlessly for long periods. The new display is very bright for visual clarity.

If the instrument is inadvertently left on, the energy saving feature automatically switches off the instrument after five minutes to conserve the battery life.

Fugenex Damp Protect

Fugenex Damp Protect is a simple innovative method for measuring humidity through an irreversible humidity indicator.
The Fugenex Damp Protect indicators provide early warning signals of humidity and help to indicated if there is a condensation problem rather than a structural fault.

There are many ways to get an on-the spot account of the relative atmospheric humidity, however, there are few ways of easily measuring the relative humidity over a period of time, i.e. how long something has been exposed to humidity above a certain level.

Fugenex Damp Protect sensors, provide a physical-chemical principle, show how long the relative humidity has exceeded a predetermined level. The reading on the indicator is non-reversible. This means that even if the relative humidity temporarily falls below the humidity level, the maximum humidity reading remains unchanged.

Fugenex sensors have a robust design that assures high reliability. The indicators are easy to read and understand, as the length of the reading is proportional to the time that exposure to humidity has exceeded the predetermined level.

The next generation gas monitor - BW GasAlertQuattro

BW Technologies have launched their new generation BW GasAlertQuattro gas detector which has been designed to provide enhanced confidence through rugged reliability and enhanced features.

Several key customer requirements have been addressed with the new BW GasAlertQuattro, improved screen to check the instrument, improved gas sensors and more importantly confidence in the instrument.

Large Clear Display
The BW GasAlertQuattro features a larger LCD display with easy to identify icons that indicate operational information, such as bump test and calibration status for simplified onsite auditing. A large heart icon pulses continually during normal operation to indicate that the instrument and environment is OK.

However, if the instrument alarms a new hazardous symbol will be displayed, highlighting the alarm.

IntelliFlash
The IntelliFlash, a green LED that continuously flashes to let the safety manager know their crew is safe, the site is compliant and the job is productive. That means no manual checks, no time spent inspecting just a quick visual scan of the area provides assurance all is well in minutes, not hours. So safety managers can spend more time on the job, not auditing equipment.

The audible alarm is different if the battery is low to a gas alarm.

Improved Sensors
BW has rigorously investigated all the sensors available on the open market and selected the best sensors for reliability and overall performance. With over 10 billion field hours the Surecell range of sensors meets customer demands for improved sensor design.

Longer Running Times
The BW GasAlertQuattro delivers longer run times that allow workers do more in all extremes the work environment demands. The interchangeable battery pack means customers can do more and spend less. They need to buy only one monitor because the battery pack transfers in the time it takes workers to change shifts. So there’s never any downtime with the personal gas monitor that’s ready for work 24 hours/7 days a week.

Single Button Operation
The BW Gas Alert Quattro utilises a single one button operation. The push button has been design for easy operation whilst wearing gloves.

Features

  • IntelliFlash verifies operation and compliance
  • One-button operational simplicity
  • Easy to identify icons
  • Field-proven Surecell sensors
  • Easy-to-read, LCD displays all gas concentrations simultaneously
  • Audible, visual and vibrating alarm
  • Extended alarm bars
  • Flexible, interchangeable battery option

Leica Builder - True Power on Construction Sites

Leica Geosystems have recently launched a new range of theodolites and total stations for construction sites. The Leica Builder range incorporates similar features of the larger more powerful surveying and engineering ranges but into a simpler less complicated package.

Starting with the Leica Builder 100 electronic theodolite all the way up to the Leica Builder 500, the range features the same chassis and software configurations. This allows operators to easily move to the higher specification models without retraining.

Don't be fooled into thinking the Builder range are low specification. Key options commonly featured in the Leica's TS09 range have been incoprated, like a USB memory stick which allows the operator to transfer measured data directly to a PC, or for real time data transfer use the Bluetooth wireless link. How about long range reflectorless measuring or improved onboard software.

Greater emphasis on intergration with third party surveying software. Vendors link Greabert have launched new programs directly for the Leica Builder range, allow both the total stations and hand-held laser measures to utilise the same package. A new rugged military specification field PDA – Leica DX10 allows the operator to run software, collect data and operate the instruments.

So Leica have everything in one package!

Leica Builder 100
With a laser plummet for simple and fast setup over control line, dual axis compensation for accurate plumbing, endless drives eliminating steps, audible notice for 90° turns, graphical leveling aid for fast and convenient setup and IP55 rating, the Leica Builder 100 is an outstanding theodolite.
